The Caterpillar D5M Track-Type Tractor or Bulldozer was the next branch in the family tree of CAT D4 and D5 models. It featured a Caterpillar 3116 turbocharged diesel engine, capable of 121HP. Blade capacity ranged from 3.37 cubic yards for the XL version or 2.64 cubic yards for the LGP Version. The 1:87 HO Scale model replica of the D5M dozer features a mix of diecast and plastic, with a movable front dozing blade. This model is perfectly suited to display on one of our lowboy tractor and trailer sets and is sure to delight collectors young and old.
