We’re pleased to announce the arrival of the Flames of War GE551 8.8cm Flak 41 gaming miniatures set. This powerful German heavy anti-aircraft and anti-tank gun joins our expanding selection of Mid War Flames of War releases.
Historical context:
The famous German 8.8cm guns became legendary during World War II for their versatility and destructive power. Originally designed as anti-aircraft weapons, the 8.8cm Flak series quickly proved devastating in an anti-tank role. The Flak 41 represented a later refinement with improved ballistic performance and greater range, maintaining the 88mm’s reputation as one of the most feared artillery pieces of the war.
On the tabletop, the 8.8cm Flak provides long-range firepower capable of threatening even heavily armored enemy vehicles, making it a key defensive asset in many German Mid War forces.
