The Academy Plastic Model Company has been producing kits since 1969. The company is famous for its endless research and development and the excellent model kits that result from the effort. Academy has been awarded Model of the Year at the Nuremberg International Toy Show nine times and the quality of their model kits meets or exceeds that of any other current manufacturer. Special edition with limited availibility! The Hawker Hunter was a sub-sonic British jet aircraft developed in the late 1940s and early 1950s. The single-seat Hunter entered service as a maneuverable fighter aircraft, and later operated in fighter-bomber and reconnaissance roles in numerous conflicts. Two-seat variants remained in use for training and secondary roles with the Royal Air Force (RAF) and Royal Navy until the early 1990s. The Hunter was also widely exported, serving with 21 other air forces. Sixty years after its original introduction it was still in active service, operated by the Lebanese Air Force until 2014. Kit features: 6 marking options; can be built as either F.6 or FGA.9; cccurately detailed panel lines & rivets; precisely engraved cockpit & landing gear; and Cartograf decals.This finely detailed plastic model kit requires assembly and painting.

We accept returns for exchange or refund for 30 calendar days after delivery of the order, and returns for Christmas holiday gift purchases may be made through January 31. Undamaged items that are returned must be in new, unaltered and unused condition showing no signs of wear or damage. Refunds are contingent upon inspection of item(s), and the customer is responsible for all shipping costs if seller is not at fault for the return. Refunds will be given in the form of the payment method used for the original purchase transaction.
