These are 1/1250 scale aircraft carriers by Navis-Neptun, from fleet carriers such as USS Essex, Hornet (CV-8), Saratoga and Ranger to light and escort carriers such as Independence and Bogue, as well as British carriers like HMS Hermes. They are finished metal models with the flight deck, island and armament detailed in miniature. Many names include the year, which shows the configuration modeled.
