The Academy Plastic Model Company has been producing kits since 1969. The company is famous for its endless research and development and the excellent model kits that result from the effort. Academy has been awarded 'Model of the Year' at the Nuremberg International Toy Show many times and the quality of their model kits meets or exceeds that of any other current manufacturer. Item is brand new and in its original factory packaging. Listing images are stock pictures provided by the manufacturer or the distributor. Developed by Boeing (previously McDonnell Douglas), the F/A-18 Hornet is an advanced multi-role aircraft used by the US Navy and Marines. The aircraft took to the skies in November of 1978 with the first production aircraft flying in the spring of 1980. The initial production run of the aircraft was 380 F/A-18As. In 1987, the F/A-18C was unveiled. Both A and C are single-seater aircraft, while the B and D variants are tandem-seaters. In total, 1,480 examples of the F/A-18 were built. This kit contains plastic parts for faithful recreating the USMC F/A-18A+ from VMFA-232, as seen in 2007 in the Persian Gulf, in 1/72 scale. The fully assembled model is 24.1cm long and 6.6cm tall.

Undamaged items that are returned must be in new, unaltered and unused condition showing no signs of wear or damage. Refunds are contingent upon inspection of item(s), and the customer is responsible for all shipping costs if seller is not at fault for the return.
