The Academy Plastic Model Company has been producing kits since 1969. The company is famous for its endless research and development and the excellent model kits that result from the effort. Academy has been awarded 'Model of the Year' at the Nuremberg International Toy Show many times and the quality of their model kits meets or exceeds that of any other current manufacturer. USAF "Multirole Fighter" MCP 1:72 Scale The USAF F-16 is a single engine, supersonic tactical multirole fighter. Designed as an air superiority day fighter in 1972, it has evolved into a multi-role, combat aircraft. Due to its relatively inexpensive cost and high performance capabilities, more than 4,500 have been built. The F-16 uses the first relaxed static stability/fly-by-wire flight control system enabling it to achieve enhanced maneuverability. It is equipped with improved GPS/INS, and can carry an assortment of advanced missiles. Highly nimble the F-16 can pull 9g maneuvers and reach a maximum speed of over Mach 2. Undamaged items that are returned must be in new, unaltered and unused condition showing no signs of wear or damage. Refunds are contingent upon inspection of item(s), and the customer is responsible for all shipping costs if seller is not at fault for the return.
