Leveraging Aoshima’s accumulated expertise in plastic model technology, the new 'PLAfig.' series delivers excellently sculpted plastic model kits, debuting with its first release, Godzilla (2023) from Godzilla -1.0. Based on a prototype created by emerging creature sculptor Shuzou Kanimushi, this compact model dynamically captures Godzilla’s iconic fixed pose as it rampages from Tokyo Bay to Ginza, with a design that preserves the integrity of the sculpt so its aesthetic impact can be fully enjoyed simply by assembling the kit. The completely new mold faithfully reproduces Godzilla’s organic form in plastic, featuring a lifelike, dynamic pose that appears ready to come to life, condensed into an approximate height of 13 cm to evoke scenes from the film. The preorder limited version includes a clear-molded dorsal fin parts runner for heat-ray effects, and the package showcases an original illustration by TAKA-F in a luxurious design that captures Godzilla’s imposing presence. The set includes one Limited Edition 2023 Godzilla model.
