New Arrival: Navis-Neptun 1/1250 Scale Model Ship Restock
We’re pleased to announce the arrival of a substantial new shipment of Navis-Neptun 1/1250 scale model ships at Historia Emporium – The History Store. This restock includes an excellent cross-section of World War II–era capital ships, aircraft carriers, cruisers, and escort vessels from multiple navies, many of which are longtime favorites among small-scale naval collectors.
Newly arrived Navis-Neptun models include:
- Neptun 1001S German Battleship Tirpitz with Painted Deck
- Neptun 1187 British Minesweeper Sir Lancelot (1941)
- Neptun 1305 U.S. Battleship Idaho (1945)
- Neptun 1305B U.S. Battleship Mississippi (1944)
- Neptun 1316 U.S. Aircraft Carrier Lexington (1940)
- Neptun 1316A U.S. Aircraft Carrier Lexington (1942)
- Neptun 1317 U.S. Aircraft Carrier Saratoga (CV-3, 1944)
- Neptun 1318 U.S. Aircraft Carrier Langley (1930)
- Neptun 1320 U.S. Aircraft Carrier Commencement Bay (1945)
- Neptun 1321X U.S. Escort Carrier Casablanca MS 21 (1944)
- Neptun 1330 U.S. Battlecruiser Alaska
- Neptun 1336 U.S. Heavy Cruiser Pensacola (1940)
- Neptun 1400 French Planned Battleship Gascogne (1938)
- Neptun T1003B German Battleship Scharnhorst (Camouflaged, 1943)
- Neptun T1004 German Battleship Gneisenau (Camouflaged, 1941)
These models span the interwar period through the height of World War II and include both historically famous ships and intriguing designs that never reached full operational service, such as the planned French battleship Gascogne. Together, they form an outstanding foundation for collectors focused on Atlantic and Pacific theater fleets.
Important pricing context:
We want to be transparent with our customers that pricing on these newly arrived Navis-Neptun models reflects current economic realities. Recent increases are the result of two primary factors:
- New and expanded U.S. tariffs on goods imported from the European Union.
- A weaker U.S. dollar relative to the euro, which significantly increases acquisition costs for European-made models.
Navis-Neptun models are produced in Germany and imported in relatively small quantities. With higher landed costs due to tariffs, customs handling, and currency exchange, retail pricing has unfortunately risen compared to previous shipments. We continue to work closely with our suppliers to keep pricing as reasonable as possible, but these factors are outside our control.
Despite these challenges, we remain committed to offering one of the best selections of 1/1250 scale naval models available in the U.S., and we appreciate our customers’ understanding as global trade conditions evolve.
Availability on Navis-Neptun models is always limited, and restocks can be unpredictable.
