New Arrival: Fate of a Nation AISBX12 Ouragan Fighter Flight – Arab-Israeli Wars Gaming
We're pleased to announce the arrival of the Fate of a Nation AISBX12 Ouragan Fighter Flight gaming miniatures set. This Israeli Air Force fighter-bomber flight joins our expanding selection of Fate of a Nation releases.
Historical context:
The Dassault M.D.450 Ouragan (French for "Hurricane") was France's first domestically designed jet fighter-bomber to enter production. Israel acquired 75 Ouragans beginning in 1954, making them among the first jet aircraft in Israeli Air Force service. Originally intended as fighters, the Ouragans were eventually transitioned to ground-attack duties. During the 1967 Six-Day War, Israeli Ouragans participated in Operation Focus, attacking Egyptian forward air bases in the Sinai alongside Mystère fighter-bombers, helping to establish the air superiority that proved decisive in the conflict.
On the tabletop, the Ouragan Fighter Flight provides Israeli forces with dedicated close air support, delivering strikes against enemy ground targets and adding an aerial dimension to Fate of a Nation battles.

In addition to this release, we have recently added many new Fate of a Nation items to our inventory. These sets cover both Israeli and Arab forces, giving players more options to build historically themed armies for the Arab-Israeli conflicts of 1967 and 1973.
