Everything you need to start playing in one set. Item is brand new in original factory packaging.
The BEF: Quality Over Quantity
Between the two World Wars, Britain's main concern was policing its far-flung empire. With Germany neutralised by the Treaty of Versailles and the French unlikely to cross the Channel against the Royal Navy, the British Army received little funding even after rearmament began. When war came, Britain could initially offer France a British Expeditionary Force of just one corps—three infantry divisions—compared with 33 French divisions ready for action. That force grew to a full army of ten divisions by the time the Germans invaded. Where the BEF shone was quality: every division was motorised, and many battalions were made up of professional soldiers, unlike the conscript-heavy armies of its allies and enemies. This starter force lets you put that army on the table in 1:100 scale.
