About the Kit
Italeri was founded in the early 1960s by enthusiasts who wanted better aircraft and military vehicle models than were available at the time. That passion drove them to research and produce the kits modelers wanted, and Italeri grew into a leading name in the hobby. The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II is a family of single-seat, single-engine, all-weather stealth multirole fighters. The F-35A is the conventional takeoff and landing (CTOL) variant used by the US Air Force and many allied nations.
