Update: Navis-Neptun Shipments to the USA Resumed
We’re pleased to share some great news for collectors of Navis-Neptun model ships. After the recent disruption caused by changes in U.S. customs policy and the suspension of DHL deliveries, a solution has now been found for importing these models. We are happy to report that a new shipment successfully arrived yesterday.
Background: As many of you know, shipments of Navis-Neptun models were halted due to the elimination of the de minimis exemption, which previously allowed imports under $800 to enter the U.S. without additional customs processing. With this exemption removed, DHL suspended shipments to U.S. hobby retailers, forcing us to pause incoming orders. During this period, we worked closely with our vendor to explore alternatives and ensure these highly sought-after models could once again reach our shelves.
The solution: Through new arrangements with alternative shipping providers, we have successfully resumed imports. While costs may be somewhat higher going forward, we are committed to maintaining availability and continuing to offer one of the largest selections of Navis-Neptun models in the United States.
What this means for our customers:
- Navis-Neptun models are once again arriving in stock.
- Orders that were delayed due to the suspension will now be fulfilled as shipments resume.
- Collectors can look forward to new arrivals in the coming weeks as our supply stabilizes.
