Update: Navis-Neptun Imports Temporarily Suspended Again Due to U.S. Customs Changes
We regret to report that imports of Navis-Neptun model ships from Germany have once again been suspended due to ongoing U.S. customs restrictions and the continued enforcement of changes to the de minimis import exemption. This renewed disruption affects our ability to receive shipments directly from the manufacturer, and as of now, no new imports are being processed.
Background: As we shared previously, the de minimis exemption — which allowed goods valued under $800 to enter the United States without full customs duties or clearance — has been removed under new trade regulations.
