Item DW16020 is a 1:16 scale highly detailed static plastic model kit of the German 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun, designed with precision and versatility. The kit features a completely newly designed 7.5 cm PaK, with optional muzzle brakes and wheel designs for mid- and late-production variants. It includes two different muzzle brakes, three wheel rim options, four ammunition boxes, eight ammunition containers, and a total of ten rounds—five anti-tank and five explosive grenades. Additional details include protective screens for optics that can be displayed open or closed, supports that may be positioned for combat or transport, and a highly detailed braking system with lines. Three marking options are provided, though figures are not included. Historically, the 7.5 cm PaK 40 became the backbone of German anti-tank defenses from 1942 onward, proving highly effective across all major fronts. While evolving Allied tank armor gradually lessened its relative impact, the PaK 40 remained in widespread use until the war’s end due to its reliability and battlefield utility. Mid- and late-production variants incorporated improvements in materials and design, extending its service life. Even after World War II, the PaK 40 continued to see action in various conflicts worldwide, including later use in Vietnam.
