The parachutists of the Folgore Division are all volunteers. Every one of them has jumped out of a plane from heights as low as 100 metres. In such a unit there is no room for cowardice or failure. The paracadutisti were supposed to be armed with Beretta modello 38 submachine-guns, but there aren't enough so only sergeants and officers have them. Even so, the British shudder when they hear the battle cry 'Folgore!' Undamaged items that are returned must be in new, unaltered and unused condition showing no signs of wear or damage.
