Type VII was the backbone of the Kriegsmarine U-boat force and the C variant was the definitive and most produced boat of this class. This model kit features a 2-piece full hull (split upper and lower with separate saddle tanks), detailed exterior hull and deck surfaces, deck gun, wintergarten anti-aircraft gun, optional injection-molded deck railings and photo-etch parts (railings for all decks, anchor, antenna masts, conning tower deck grating, DF loop, flag staff, optional bow cable cutters and display stand with nameplates). Completed model is approximately 7. 5 in long. Includes color painting guide for 2 vessels plus decals for ensigns and conning tower insignia. This finely detailed plastic model kit requires assembly and painting.
