This 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit depicts the Porsche 911 GT2 Type 993, a road going supercar developed to meet GT2 regulations and introduced as part of the 1993 Porsche 911 lineup, representing one of the most extreme and desirable 911 variants ever produced. Powered by a 3.6 liter horizontally opposed six cylinder engine fitted with twin KKK turbochargers, the full scale 911 GT2 delivered an astonishing 450 horsepower through a six speed transmission, enabling performance figures that included a 0 to 100 km/h time of just 3.9 seconds and a top speed exceeding 300 km/h. Lightweight aluminum body panels, brake cooling focused aerodynamic elements, screw fastened oversized fenders, and a large rear wing with air ducts gave the car its unmistakably aggressive appearance, while the stripped down interior with roll cage reinforced its motorsport pedigree. Measuring approximately 177 mm in length and 81 mm in width when completed, the model faithfully recreates these defining features with accurate over fenders and rear wing, crisply detailed roll cage and interior, metal transfer parts for wheels, headlights, and reflectors, and solid rubber tires that enhance the realism of this rare and iconic high performance Porsche.
