This 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit recreates the Porsche 911 GT3 RS Type 992, introduced in 2022, the first newly tooled 911 GT3 kit released since 2001 and a showcase of Porsche’s relentless evolution of the iconic 911. Designed as a high performance road car with a strong focus on circuit driving, the 911 GT3 RS features aggressive aerodynamic elements including vents in the hood and fenders, airflow fins on the wheel arches and roof, and a massive rear wing equipped with a variable DRS drag reduction system, all aimed at maximizing downforce and efficiency. Extensive use of carbon fiber reinforced plastic throughout the body contributes to significant weight reduction, while a rear mounted 4 liter horizontally opposed six cylinder engine incorporating advanced racing technology produces 525 horsepower. Measuring approximately 190 mm in length, 85 mm in width, and 56 mm in height when completed, the model authentically recreates these features and can be assembled in left hand drive European specification with detailed Weissach Package components such as distinctive wheel design, carbon fiber sections for the hood, roof, rear wing, and side mirrors, roll cage, door straps, shift paddles, and headrest logos. The kit includes decals for the dashboard, carbon fiber areas, mesh seat surfaces, door linings, and headrest logos, as well as side GT3 RS graphics and Porsche logos in red, black, dark blue, or silver to allow a wide range of body color combinations. Additional realism is provided by metal transfer parts for mirrors and rear lights, separately molded and movable brake calipers and discs, solid synthetic rubber tires, and masking stickers for precise painting of windows and headlight covers.
