Tamiya ventured into the modeling business in 1948, with a scale wooden ship model kit. Since then, Tamiya has been striving to offer merchandise that can truly be called 'First in Quality Around the World.' Now Tamiya is offering more than 300 different products, both in the fields of precision static models and high performance radio control vehicles. These products are not only sold in Japan but also exported in vast quantities to the United States, Europe, South East Asia, and to many other parts of the world. The standard of excellence achieved by Tamiya is regarded as among the very finest in the world of model hobbies. This finely detailed plastic model kit requires assembly and painting. Item is brand new and in its original factory packaging. Listing images are stock pictures provided by the manufacturer or the distributor. This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 193 mm, width: 75 mm, height: 56 mm. The angular two-door hardtop body is captured in style. Faithful depictions of the luxurious interior, chassis underside and suspension. Features a moveable sunroof; making the model interactive even after assembly. Metal-plated wheels are paired with synthetic rubber tires for realistic feel. Decals are included for the name logo, and metal transfers for interior and fender mirrors. A driver figure adds some extra life to the model. In September 1980 Nissan introduced the Leopard, and the 280X SF-L was the top grade in the Leopard line-up. The 2-door hardtop body featured flush joints between the windows and body panels, and its 2,800cc inline-6 engine produced 145hp. This updated re-issue from Tamiya's back catalog comes with updated decals and instructions and is a standalone display model kit.
