During the mid-1980s the British Army infantry was in a state of transition, moving from the previous 7.62mm calibre L1A1 SLR rifle to the new NATO 5.56mm calibre SA80 assault rifle, the same calibre as used by US M16 assault rifle. The SA80 (Small Arms for the 1980s) is a family of 5.56×45mm NATO service weapons that include the L85 assault rifle variant, and the L86 Light Support Weapon (LSW). The SA80 is a bullpup design where its firing grip is located in front of the breech of the weapon, instead of behind it. This creates a weapon with a shorter overall length for a given barrel length, and one that is often lighter, more compact, concealable, and more manoeuvrable than a conventionally configured firearm. Contains: 1x Formation Command Automatic Rifle Team; 1x SF GPMG Team; 4x GPMG Teams with LAW80 Anti-tank; 3x Carl Gustav Anti-Tank Teams, or GPMG Teams with LAW80 Anti-tank; 1x 2" Mortar Team; 4x Milan Missile Teams. Gaming miniatures (figures, tanks, military vehicles & equipment) from Battlefront are unpainted and some require minor assembly. Listing images show assembled and painted miniatures.

Undamaged items that are returned must be in new, unaltered and unused condition showing no signs of wear or damage.
