The Scout Troop (Spähtrupp) is equipped with the Hotchkiss Schützenpanzer (infantry armoured vehicle, abbreviated to SPz) 11-2 Kurz (Short) tracked reconnaissance vehicle. It was introduced around the same time as the larger Schützenpanzer (or SPz) 12-3 Lang (HS.30) infantry fighting vehicle as used by the Panzergrenadiers. The SPz 11-2 Kurz is armed with the 20mm Hispano-Suiza 820 L/85 autocannon. The SPz 11-2 Kurz had its weaknesses: it was relatively slow and quite loud for reconnaissance, and because of the high gear ratio, reversing was only possible at a little more than walking speed (6 km/h). Furthermore, the stub axles of the front drive wheels were weak and would break if the vehicle drove into a ditch too hard. The troops also often referred to the SPz 11-2 Kurz vehicle as a “brake block” (Bremsklotz), “wheel chock” (Unterlegkeil) or “combat wheelchair” (Gefechtsrollstuhl). Contains 2x SPz 11-2 Kurz Scouts

Undamaged items that are returned must be in new, unaltered and unused condition showing no signs of wear or damage. Refunds are contingent upon inspection of item(s), and the customer is responsible for all shipping costs if seller is not at fault for the return.
